Racehorse
A thought from listening to an audiobook with motivational speaker Zig Ziglar. Most people who own a million dollar racehorse would feed it only the best, make sure it gets proper training(exercise), treat any injury or illness with the best remedies, and keep it comfortable in a heated stable with the best amenities.
Why should I treat myself any less? I love animals but my wellbeing should not be any less significant. I should not cut myself short by putting my welfare under others. I love treating others well and doing special things for them. I should reward myself as I reward my children or animals. I am not number two and never will be. I am number one.
I tell my children treat others how you want to be treated, from now on I am telling myself TREAT YOURSELF HOW YOU WOULD TREAT OTHERS.
